Genevieve Hurst

Miss Genevieve Hurst Lic. Ac BA Hons MBAaC is our resident acupuncturist, she is fully accredited with the British Acupuncture Council having graduated from Oxford Brookes University in Five Element Acupuncture. Genevieve recently got married so some former patients may know her by her maiden name Genevieve Cropper.

Genevieve specialises in support patients with pain conditions including musculoskeletal illnesses, stress related illness such as migraines and bowel disorders and treatment for fertility problems including supporting patients through IVF. Genevieve's background is in counseling and corporate conferences and events. She chose to train as an acupuncturist after developing an interest in medicine and complementary therapies when traveling in Australia.

She is a strong believer in using complementary treatment in conjunction with Western medicine and has given palliative care to terminally ill patients. She regularly works with patients going through treatment for IVF and has recently started working in collaboration with fertility specialist Suzanna J. Blach of 'Acuforhealth' as part of the only integrated IVF and Fertility service in Cheshire. Please see Optimum Fertility.

Genevieve is a member of the non profit organisation ACT Northwest (The Acupuncture Childbirth Team) and has postgraduate training with Jani White in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Genevieve has also trained in Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture with Virginia Doran and Jamie Hedger and has developed her own protocol which mixes the luxury of Tui Na massage and other Chinese medical techniques with Facial acupuncture.
